Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and security. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
2. Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
3. Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
4. Automate deployment, scaling, and management of Kubernetes resources using Ansible, Helm, or Kustomize.
5. Ensure Kubernetes cluster security, compliance, and governance, including network policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and auditing.
6. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications on Kubernetes.
7. Develop and maintain documentation of Kubernetes architecture, configurations, and procedures.
8. Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for Kubernetes infrastructure.
Desired Skills:
1. In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster management, networking, and security.
2. Experience with Terraform, including infrastructure-as-code (IaC) development and management.
3. Proficiency in Ansible, including playbook development and automation.
4. Experience with GitHub, including repository management, branching, and merging.
5. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
6. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
1. At least 5 years of experience in Kubernetes engineering.
2. At least 2 years of experience in Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub.
