Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Hitachi storage infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and operate Hitachi storage infrastructure solutions for block, file, and object storage platforms.
– Migration and Management: Perform block-based data migrations using tools like UVM and NDM, and manage storage operations for block, file, and object storage.
– Replication and Backup: Implement and manage Hitachi replication technologies, snapshots, and clones.
– Fabric Infrastructure: Design and implement director-class fabric infrastructure networks (e.g., Cisco, Broadcom/Brocade).
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Hitachi or SAN storage, with strong experience in Hitachi SAN block architecture and design expertise.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in storage operations, data migration, and replication technologies.
• Education: Engineering or equivalent degree preferred.
• Worked on Hitachi VSP, G1000, G1500,5500.
• Experience on Hitachi Command Suit 8, HNAS
• Hands on experience on HCS, Storage navigator, OpsCenter
• Worked on Pool-to-Pool Migrations,
• Hands on Experience on LDEV Creation and Allocation.
• New Host Registration and Storage Array adding in HCS.
• Handle all the L2 level Tasks and Troubleshooting on HCS.
• Adding LUN paths and editing LUN paths.
• Experience on Creating Host Groups and provisioning.
• Configured Replication technologies True copy, HUR and GAD, Shadow image.
• Participated on Microcode upgrade,
• Configuration Horcm for TC, HUR, and GAD replication techniques
• Hands on experience on Decommission the server like delete LDevs and host
